Step 3D

After the bell has been slid through the door opening it can be placed on its designated hanger.

Most clocks use a dual post hanger so there will be two posts for each bell. The bell must be positioned over both posts to assure proper alignment with the striking hammer.

Step 3E

Once all the bells have been properly installed, replace the rear access door.

The clock may now be rotated back into its desired position. This must be done slowly and with extreme caution as the bells may swing and bang into one another. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided but should be kept to an absolute minimum.

NOTE: further leveling adjustments may not be practical once the bells have been installed so proper leveling prior to installing the bells is crucial.
